The FS wants us to replace some bridges so they give us a load of timbers
We cut what we can
WPR Mountain Manager helps stack
Lumber taken to back of ski area
Bob from FS helps with the Honda Carrier
But we schlep the big stringers with wheels
First bridge site (the easy one)
Laurie and Bill work on foundations
Kelly and the first of four big 6" x 16" x 14' stringers
Tom masters the wheelie on the 1.75 mile journey to the lower bridge
Curt and Ticer pre-drilling
and then pounding 10" spikes
